Andy McDonald

On October 5th, I recieved Andy McDonald. It was about a 5 month wait, including the summer time off, which isn't a big deal, especially since he had a lot of celebrating to do because of his Stanley Cup they won. I'm very happy to see that even though he won Stanley, that he is still signing autographs for fans. It's very nice to see that, including those like me who are trying to complete sets.

Ilya Bryzgalov

From after my post on Wednesday to just now, I have been out of the country. When I returned home at 9 tonight, I found a letter waiting for me on the table. I looked at the Post Mark and got excited, because it was from Santa Anna, CA. I sent this card right after the Stanley Cup Finals started, hoping to get this mail out before they ended and they'd get them before summer. Don't think they did, but oh well. Ilya was awesome at the start of the play-offs last year for the Ducks, and I think if he were anywhere else, he would be a starter. But alas, I'm happy to have another one to scratch off my list and one step closer to completion. Thanks Ilya, you made one man very happy on this long weekend!

Sergei Federov

Today after 10 days of waiting, I recieved Sergei Federov's graph in the mail. He returned 3/3 all of which i believe are stamped. It's unfortunate, especially because I'm trying to get as many real auto's as possible for my 06-07 Fleer set, but, what can you do? I was also hoping to get his autograph in a Red Wings Uniform, because it's going into my special plaque I want to create dedicated to the Russian Five that played in Detroit. I have Konstantinov's autograph for that one already, so, 20% there already. But alas, something is better than nothing right now. Worst case scenario from Sergei, I find a certified autograph of him in a Red Wings uni.
